YOUR SESSION

Your session….

Ranch session includes instruction, starting with cattle work & patterns in the sand arena, then moving out to the Ranch Trail course. Approx. 3 hours in total.

  • Arena will be open from 30 minutes before session time for you to warm up.

  • The classes chosen for your session are some that you might come across if you were looking to compete.

Cattle Work, teaching your horse how to move the cattle and learning one of the many Ranch cattle working classes.

Ranch Riding patterns (dry work) are to get your horse responsive and smooth in the transitions. Working on collection and leg pressure to get a soft & willing partnership between you & your horse.

Ranch Trail is a range of obstacles designed to replicate a ranch environment. We practice the skills & techniques on the purpose built course to enable you to safely negotiate challenges such as opening a gate, roping a dummy cow, crossing a bridge & many more.

After ….

Water is available to hose your horse off and fill your water bucket. Please clean up after yourself and we have provided a manure box to put manure from your float and tie up area.
